StonehamBank’s People Pay allows you to make and request person-to-person payments safely and conveniently through your StonehamBank Online Banking account or the StonehamBank Mobile App.
With People Pay you can:
- Pay back friends and family without visiting the ATM
- Send money as gifts
- Pay your babysitter, landscaper, or soccer team dues!
Using People Pay is easy and convenient:
- Enroll in People Pay through your StonehamBank Online Banking account
- Enter the name of the person receiving the funds, and either their mobile phone number or email address
- Include a message
- Click SEND!
- They’ll receive either an email or text message walking them through the process to receive (or send) the funds
People Pay is not available on iPad® and AndroidTM tablets. You must be enrolled in StonehamBank Online Banking to access People Pay. Payments must come out of a StonehamBank checking account. For additional information, review the Online Banking Disclosure.
Screen fades in with StonehamBank logo, member FDIC, Member SIF. Screen turns to black with People Pay How It Works appearing on screen. Screen turns white to an animated hand holding a dollar bill. Male voice says, “How do you pay back your friend for those movie tickets.” A screen comes up with a shadow of a singer. A male voice says, “Concert Tickets.” Animation of a theater design comes up and a male voice says, “Theater Tickets.” An animation of a girl holding a young boy comes up with a money symbol in hand. Male voice says, “How do you pay the babysitter.” An animation of a dog appears with a male voice saying “the dogwalker.” An animation of a baseball bat comes to screen and a male voice says, “The little league coach.” An animation of a tv with a price tag comes up and a male voice says, “Or even your roommate, for your half of this month’s cable bill.” An animation of a distressed man surrounded by the animations he must pay appears and a male voice says, “Are you tired of running short of cash.” A female animation holding a check appears and a male voice says, “or having to write checks all the time.” An animation of multiple people surrounded by circles and attached through lines appears and the male voice says, “Now you can start sending money instantly through PeoplePay.” An animation of a computer appears, and a male voice says, “it’s your trusted financial institution’s website, so you know its safe and secure.” The computer shrinks and next to it pops up buildings and a male voice says, “The same way that you pay your bills with bill pay, now you can also pay people with PeoplePay.” An email address pops up on the computer screen next to a woman and the male voice says, “All you need is their e-mail address.” The email address turns into a mobile phone number as the voice says, “Or mobile phone number.” The computer fades and focuses on the woman holding a phone with an envelope and text message on either side of her. The male voice says: “Your friends gets an email or text.” A person’s arm holding a phone appears and the voice says: “follows the link to PeoplePay, and easily claims the payment.” The computer reappears with a bubble that says contacts and animations of people as the voice says, “And if you want to manage your payment contacts, send more payments, and monitor incoming or outgoing transactions from your account,” The computer starts to spin, and the voice continues “You can do it all from any device.” A tablet appears, then it fades to green lines. A male voice says “with PeoplePay, maybe you won’t have to use cash or write a check again.” StonehamBank logo, Member FDIC Member SIF appears and fades to black.
