Out of the Office with Justin DeMarco: Lender & Golfer

I currently work on the commercial and residential lending teams and love what I do. It is a joy to help people every day, whether it be through helping a first-time homebuyer get qualified for a mortgage or providing small businesses financing to grow in the future.
 

What is your favorite pastime?

Playing sports has always been a big part of my life. When I was 12 years old, I picked up the game of golf and have been playing ever since.
 

Do you have a mentor/influencer that guides you in your pastime?

My parents played a significant role in my success in sports. The countless early morning practices and long car rides to play in tournaments across New England for multiple sports could not have happened without them. I am forever grateful for everything they have done for me.
 

When & where are you happiest in your life?

Growing up, my family  always went to Wells, Maine for vacation.  Wells certainly has a special place in my heart.
 

What has been your greatest achievement outside of work?

I helped coach the Saint Joseph’s Prep varsity baseball team to their first playoff
run in school history.
 

What is your motto/words to live by?

Everything happens for a reason.
