StonehamBank and Sarah Samuels Partner in Local Financial Literacy Initiative for Kids

STONEHAM, MA – April 2025 – StonehamBank is proud to celebrate Financial Literacy Awareness Month by partnering with Reading, MA resident Sarah Samuels, CFA, CAIA, Founder of the 30 Seconds of Bravery movement, author of Braving Our Savings, and seasoned investor, to empower individuals with the confidence to make smart financial decisions.
As part of this initiative, StonehamBank is donating $750 to the 30 Seconds of Bravery organization, reinforcing its commitment to helping individuals and families build a stronger financial future. StonehamBank will also feature a social media video with Samuels, where they will discuss the role of financial courage in budgeting, investing, and career decisions. The conversation will highlight how small moments of bravery can lead to lasting financial success. “We’re thrilled to partner with Sarah on this initiative,” said Edward F. In addition, StonehamBank will give away signed copies of Braving Our Savings in its branches throughout April, encouraging customers to take bold steps toward their financial goals.
