Stoneham, MA (January 2023) – StonehamBank CEO Edward F. Doherty, Jr. recently announced a donation to support the Community Service Network (CSN), a Stoneham-based agency that has served the communities of Burlington, Lexington, Melrose, North Reading, Ready, Stoneham, Wakefield, Wilmington, Winchester and Woburn for over thirty years.
Recently, Vice President/Residential Lending Manager Robert Rossignol and Senior Vice President/Risk Gregory M. D’Antona presented a check for $2,625 to CSN’s Bryna Davis at the Bank’s Montvale Avenue branch to help support CSN’s mission.
“Housing is a critical need for every family,” notes VP Rossignol. “This donation, like so many that we make every month, helps individuals and families with housing insecurities through education programs that support the financial health and life needs of our communities in ways that we couldn’t do on our own. We are grateful to the organizations and agencies that provide this knowledge and proud that they know they can turn to us for help when they need support to carry out their mission.”
CSN’s mission is to “help low and moderate income clients access the knowledge, skills and services that promote independence and self-sufficiency,” with a goal of helping clients to obtain, maintain and sustain housing. The agency’s services include counseling for families on self-sufficiency, first-time home buying, foreclosure prevention and mortgage options. StonehamBank’s donation will help support the agency’s mission and activities in the coming months.
